I began exhibiting my work in South West France, where I lived for almost 10 years. There I found inspiration in old and abandoned dwellings. Details such as broken doors, peeling shutters and smashed windows that invite the viewer to imagine what went before. Landscapes, travel, and something a little different, also feature prominently in my work.

For me, the final image is the most important thing in the creative process and I have no qualms about manipulating an image to create the look I want to see. I will have a vision of the image I’m trying to create from the beginning. I consider the processes I will be using to that end, even as I press the shutter button.

I have a passionate interest in landscape/seascape and woodland and the images here give a flavour of my work.
